Sina Soleimani
I am a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose practice spans painting, caricature, sculpture, and design, anchored by a strong interest in artistic research and narrative. I earned an M.A. in Painting from the University of Art, Tehran (2023), a B.A. in Industrial Design from the University of Art & Architecture, Tehran (2010), and a B.A. in Design from the Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts (2007).

My work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions, including a solo show at Mat Gallery, Tehran (2005), group exhibitions at Sarai Pour Gallery, Khur (2022), and the Contemporary Artist Grand Prize Exhibition at the Artists’ House, Tehran (2023). Earlier recognition includes an Honorable Diploma at the Election Caricature Competition, Romania (2008). I have written and illustrated for Bazdam Magazine (Yerevan, 2006) and contributed to Chehel Cheragh Magazine (Iran, 2004). From 2007–2010 I worked as a painter and sculptor on the Middle East Animation Project at the Iranian Art Center as part of the Global Peace Project.

My research and writing include the registered historical study Eastern Iran Before Islam (IranDoc, 2023) and the forthcoming magic-realism novel Wagon Abad (in process, 2025). I have created large-scale public murals in Tehran and Yerevan, and I am a longstanding member of the Iranian Cartoonists Association and a member of the Iranian Painters Association for over a decade. Since 2024 I have been teaching fine arts to primary school students in Tehran.
